An Introduction to Fermentation

Charlotte is one of the world's leading authors on fermentation, with her 2015 book, FERMENTED, selling in many languages around the world and its shortlisting in the January 2016 André Simon Awards for Food Book.

Have you wanted to have a go at fermenting but not known where to start, what to look out for and what equipment you need? Look no further for clear, practical, common sense advice and recipes for getting started.

In this class, Charlotte will show you how to get started and will walk you through essential recipes that will get you started on your journey into fermentation by explaining the how, what and why, and you will receive your own ferments to take home and nurture.

The cost of this class is higher than our usual cost, but this is to include all equipment and starter cultures you need to continue to make these ferments at home, which are built into the ticket price at cost.

You will make kombuchas, kefirs, kraut and vegetable ferments. All of which build wonderfully into your daily routine to keep them going and to enjoy them every day.
